Key Responsibilities & Requirements:
1. Hands-on BW Build & Architecture (Mandatory): Extensive, proven experience in designing, building, and modeling end-to-end data flows in SAP BW 7.3, including expertise in InfoCubes, DataStore Objects (DSOs), InfoObjects, Transformations, and Process Chains.
2. BW 7.5: Hands-on experience with or practical knowledge of SAP BW 7.5, including modern modeling objects (Advanced DSOs, CompositeProviders).
3. Data Extraction & Reporting: Strong proficiency in extracting data from SAP (ECC/S4) and non-SAP source systems using standard/generic extractors, along with building queries, variables, and calculated key figures using BEx Query Designer.
4. Performance Optimization & LSA: Solid understanding of Layered Scalable Architecture (LSA/LSA++) concepts, standard partition strategies, indexing, and performance tuning techniques for legacy and modern BW environments.
5. Custom ABAP Enhancements (Good to Have): Ability to write, debug, and maintain custom ABAP code within BW environments, specifically for CMOD extractors, Transformation Start/End/Expert routines, and User Exits for BEx variables
