AI Engineer — AI Insights & Data, JLLT
Role: Build and ship agentic AI solutions for client and internal use cases, and own architecture decisions on the systems you build.
You'll
• Build and test AI agents (tool use, memory, multi-step reasoning) under guidance
• Deploy and operate agents on Amazon Bedrock AgentCore
• Integrate tools and data sources into agents via AgentCore Gateway
• Write, debug, and document clean Python code
• Craft and iterate on prompts; run evaluations and summarize results
• Support monitoring, logging, and observability of deployed agents
• Collaborate with engineers and product teammates in an agile environment
Must have (3-8 yrs)
• Proficiency in Python
• Understanding of LLMs and core agentic concepts (prompting, tool/function calling, RAG basics)
• Familiarity with an agent framework (Strands preferred) and building tool servers (FastMCP / MCP)
• Basic cloud knowledge on AWS or Azure (compute, storage, IAM/roles) and comfort with the console/CLI
• Basic knowledge of Git / GitHub and REST APIs
• Comfort with Docker (build/run containers)
• Solid problem-solving skills and willingness to learn a new platform quickly
Nice to have

• CI/CD with GitHub Actions
