Job Description – SAP ABAP Developer
Experience: 6+ Years
A minimum requirement of six years of SAP ABAP development hands on experience and SAP process knowledge of supply chain processes. Experience in design, development, implementation and maintenance of SAP systems (R/3 and S/4 HANA) and experience in agile way of working is desirable.
Mandatory Skills:
1. SAP ABAP:

Responsibilities:
As a SAP Software Engineer in Global Logistics Outbound team, candidate will support in fulfilling the technical solution for the Global Logistics business requirements in the ongoing implementation of the SAP S/4 HANA and existing R/3 systems in the Global IT of BSH. This will includes Interfaces with both SAP and non-SAP system.
With the support from Solution Architect, Scrum Master, Business Partner and other stake holders job will be specifically in realizing the following areas of the ERP and S/4 implementation, where at the same time alignment with the Agile principles and best practices.
1. Ongoing Technical Development under the advisement of the Solution Architect/Product owner
• Supports the design, coding, testing and deployment of reports, integrations, enhancements and forms primarily using ABAP and other SAP-specific technologies such as IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, BADI, BTEs, CDS views and others.
• Supports existing RICEF objects, analyzing any defects/issues raised, applying OSS notes, supporting any issues with RICEF, identify gaps and provide solution(s), translate it to technical efforts and estimate the work for the same.
• Provides support to existing SAP implementation and develop incremental enhancements to existing functionality and/or new functionality as needed.
• Assists the SAP Solution Architect/Product Owners in diagnosing issues, creating prototypes (as necessary)
• Liaising with Functional Teams ensuring the solution meets the needs of the business.
• Effectively analyzes root causes to provide solutions for production and development or assure optimization of performance objects and systems utilizing best practices.
• Develops and maintains appropriate documentation in respect of all of the above-mentioned points.
• Build, develop and grow business relationships with team members and partners.
• Provide regular communication to management on work assignment issues and status.
2. INTEGRATION:
• Supports the building and maintenance of complex objects, which involves integration to external systems using technique such as web services, RFC, OData, Proxies, Idocs etc.
