Job Summary
This role is a senior techno-functional position responsible for advanced support,
technical analysis, and solution delivery in Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials. The
individual will act as a bridge between Finance business and technical/integration
teams, with strong emphasis on data, integrations, reporting, and troubleshooting,
while retaining functional ownership of finance processes.
Compared to Analyst II, this role requires deep technical expertise (SQL, integrations,
data model, SLA) and ability to drive complex issue resolution and enhancements
independently.
Key Responsibilities
1. Production Support & Issue Resolution
• Provide L2/L3 support for Oracle Fusion Finance modules (GL, AP, AR, FA, CM)
• Perform deep-dive troubleshooting using SQL, logs, and interface tables
• Conduct root cause analysis across subledger → SLA → GL flow
• Resolve data, accounting, and integration failures
2. Techno-Functional Analysis
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions

I. Job Summary
The HR Tech Application Support Manager oversees a team responsible for the day to
day support, planning for releases and upgrades and managing projects/enhancements
for assigned HR system(s)/module(s). Provides strategic and tactical consultation and
input on design options supporting processes/transactions. Plans with Functional
Owners, Release Management and OCM to align resources and scope to milestones.
Engaging and hands on leader with system expertise and experience.
II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Manages application support and enhancement projects working with the HR
Technology team, HR Process Owners and other stakeholders
Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) on Oracle Fusion Compensation and
Core HR functionalities, including Solution Design & Implementation,
Compensation Configuration & Administration, Integration & Data Management
Responsible for systematic intake and coordination of the design, build, test, and
deploy phases of the application in accordance with established governance
Acts as change control leader - responsible for planning releases, upgrades,
patches, and configuration across the assigned Oracle module(s)/HR
application(s)
Leads meetings and resolves priority issues with functional leaders/business
stakeholders. Communicates change impacts to functional and change partners
in support of change management
Provides consultative support to Functional Owners and other stakeholders
regarding configuration and system functionality to automate processes and
address business issues. Oversees analysis to ensure optimal configuration
Mentors and provides leadership development to team members and promotes

Manages engagement with external vendors for support, enhancements,

Responsible for Tier 2 support escalations and issue resolution, supports change
management with system information. Responsible for overseeing and managing

Champions data and process governance
Responsible for managing and allocating the tasks to the team.
Responsible for capacity planning, coordinating with the business team to
prioritize and allocate critical activities effectively.
Manage the complete process of identifying, designing, developing, and
deploying system enhancements or bug fixes, ensuring timely resolution and
alignment with business needs. Oversee testing, deployment, and post
implementation support to ensure seamless system performance and user
satisfaction.
Partner with HR, Compensation, Payroll, Benefits, Finance, IT teams, and Oracle
support partners to provide functional expertise, drive best practices, deliver user
training, and ensure successful implementation and ongoing optimization of
Oracle Fusion Compensation solutions
Lead the compensation and incentive calculation applications of the organization

Responsible for management of at least one direct report and is considered a leader on
the HR Tech team giving direction and feedback to members

Delivery and managing vendor relationships (in addition to education requirement)

Strong expertise in Oracle Fusion Compensation and Oracle Fusion Core HR,

Proficiency in configuring Compensation Eligibility Profiles, Salary Basis, Grade
Ladders, Grade Rates, and Compensation Hierarchies.
Hands-on experience with Compensation Budgeting, Workforce Modeling, and
Compensation Planning to support business compensation strategies.
Strong knowledge of Fast Formula, HDL/HSDL, Functional Setup Manager
(FSM), and HCM Security & Data Roles.
Experience developing OTBI and BI Publisher reports and supporting data
analysis, audits, and compensation reporting requirements.
Knowledge of Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), REST APIs, Talent & Performance
integrations, and end-to-end HCM ecosystem integrations.
Proven ability to lead teams, mentor resources, manage vendor relationships,
support quarterly Oracle releases, and collaborate with global stakeholders on
