Responsibilities • Create or modify test plans and test cases/scripts for execution. • Communicate with development team to ensure project deliverables are on target. • Ensure that requirements, test case documentation and defect tracking information are logged into supporting test tools and that regular reports are generated. • Review status reports to ensure that the test team is following the overall test strategy document, and the test strategy as it applies to each test plan. • Prepare testing status reports for the project managers and senior management. • Verify the quality of the requirements, including testability, and trace the test procedures to the test requirements. • Make recommendations on how to improve and enhance software usability and functionality. • Coordinate with developers and application owners to resolve issues. • Stay current on latest test approaches and tools and transferring this knowledge to test team members.

Experience & Education • 10+ years of IT Experience with 6+ years of Hands-On Quality Assurance Experience • QAI Certification or other demonstration of disciplines & skills represented in a comprehensive body of knowledge • Proven QA Track Record in a high-volume environment • Strong problem solving and analytic skills • Working knowledge of the SDLC and QA Life Cycle • Strong written and oral communication skills.
