Essential Functions
Lead Istio Configurations: Maintain and lead the team in managing Istio configurations, including gateway management, ingress/egress, control planes, data planes, Envoy filters, Istio and Envoy gateways, performance, traffic management, and security policies.
Azure Support: Oversee the support, maintenance, and operations of deployed Azure items.
Design and Development: Develop reusable patterns for managing applications within a single cluster environment related to Istio deployment.
Client Interaction: Communicate effectively with clients, providing recommendations on Istio and AKS operations.
Security Collaboration: Work with security teams to advise or implement controls.
Team Collaboration and Training: Collaborate with and train other team members.
Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Assist with maintenance and troubleshooting of applications within an Azure Kubernetes Cluster, application deployments, DevOps pipeline/workflow configurations.
Innovation: Provide design improvement recommendations and implement new AKS and Istio features as they reach general availability status in Azure.
Minimum Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or 2 years of applicable experience with Istio and AKS.
Hands-On Experience: Proficiency with technologies such as Terraform, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Istio Service Mesh, Envoy, network policies, Flux, GitOps, security configurations, application segregation within a cluster, multiple node pools, connectivity troubleshooting, Azure Container Registry, Docker/Containerization, GitHub CI/CD Pipelines, Linux shell, Windows PowerShell, and SSL configurations.
Having terraform knowledge is nice to have. Candidate must be willing to learn Terraform to assist with IaC operations in the future.

Job Description:
1. Min. 5+ years of hands-on experience in Anaplan model building and implementation
2. Strong understanding on multi-dimensional modeling and finance
3. Experience with Anaplan Connects, API, Integration tools is preferred.
4. Design, build, and maintain scalable Anaplan models to support business planning, forecasting, and reporting requirements.
5. Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and translate business requirements into Anaplan solutions.
6. Optimize existing Anaplan models for performance, usability, and scalability.
7. Develop Anaplan dashboards, reports, and analytics to enhance decision-making capabilities.
8. Provide technical leadership and best practices for Anaplan development, including model architecture, integration, and data management.
9. Work with IT and business teams to integrate Anaplan with other enterprise systems.
10. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Anaplan models and data accuracy.
11. Train and mentor junior developers and end-users on Anaplan functionalities and best practices.
12. Stay updated with Anaplan platform updates, enhancements, and industry trends.
13. Anaplan Certified Model Builder L1, L2 and L3 is preferred.
