Technical Business Analyst – Lease Administration Platform Migration Project
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Technical Business Analyst to lead requirements analysis and
stakeholder coordination for a large-scale platform migration project. This role requires
strong technical documentation capabilities, meeting facilitation skills, and expertise in
data analysis to support successful system implementation and migration activities.
Key Responsibilities
Requirements Analysis & Documentation
• Gather, analyze, and document detailed technical and functional requirements
from diverse stakeholder groups
• Create comprehensive business requirements documents, functional
specifications, and technical documentation
• Develop and maintain requirements traceability matrices to ensure complete
coverage throughout the project lifecycle
• Document current state processes and design future state workflows for the new
platform
Stakeholder Management & Communication
• Facilitate requirements gathering sessions with development teams, account
management, and business users
• Lead cross-functional meetings to drive alignment between technical and business
stakeholders
• Coordinate with implementation specialists to ensure requirements are clearly
understood and properly implemented
• Present findings, recommendations, and project updates to leadership and project
teams
Data Analysis & Migration Support
• Perform detailed data analysis to support platform migration activities
• Develop data mapping specifications between legacy and target systems
• Conduct data quality assessments and identify data transformation requirements
• Create data comparison reports to validate migration accuracy and completeness
• Collaborate with data engineers and developers on data migration strategies
Testing & Validation
• Understand and document rent file requirements and related business rules
• Develop comprehensive test scripts and test cases for system validation
• Design user acceptance testing scenarios that cover critical business processes
• Support testing activities by analyzing results and documenting defects or gaps
Implementation Support
• Assist implementation specialists with technical analysis and problem-solving
• Review system configurations against documented requirements
• Provide ongoing support during system rollout and user adoption phases
Required Qualifications
Technical Skills
• 3+ years experience as a Business Analyst in technical environments
• Strong proficiency in requirements documentation tools and methodologies
• Experience with data analysis, data mapping, and data migration projects
• Knowledge of SQL and database concepts for data analysis activities
• Familiarity with system integration and API concepts
Communication & Leadership
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to translate technical
concepts for business audiences
• Proven track record of leading meetings and facilitating stakeholder discussions
• Experience managing relationships with both technical teams (developers,
architects) and business stakeholders
• Strong presentation skills for executive and project team audiences
Analytical & Problem-Solving
