We are seeking a skilled and experienced IT Infrastructure Administrator with 5-6 years of
hands-on experience managing and optimizing enterprise IT environments. The ideal
candidate will be responsible for the administration, monitoring, security, and optimization of
server infrastructure across Windows and Linux platforms, virtualization environments, cloud
infrastructure, and storage solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Server Infrastructure Management:
Manage and maintain Windows Server, Linux (including Ubuntu) environments
ensuring high availability and performance.
Perform server monitoring, performance tuning, hardening, patch management, and
security enforcement.
Virtualization Platforms:
Administer and optimize virtualization platforms including VMware and Nutanix.
Handle VM provisioning, lifecycle management, resource allocation,
backup/recovery, and disaster recovery processes.
Implement best practices for VM hardening and security.
Cloud Infrastructure Management:
Manage hybrid cloud environments using Azure and AWS.
Monitor cloud infrastructure performance, usage, and cost optimization.
Implement cloud security best practices and ensure compliance with organizational
policies.
Storage Management:
Administer NAS and SAN storage systems, ensuring optimal capacity and
performance.
Manage storage provisioning, backups, and disaster recovery procedures.
Security:
Implement and enforce infrastructure security best practices including VM hardening,
patching, and access controls.
Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans.
INTERNAL
Automation & Scripting:
Develop and maintain scripts to automate routine infrastructure tasks using
PowerShell, Bash, Python, or other relevant languages.
Drive automation initiatives to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual
intervention.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (or
equivalent experience).
5-6 years of hands-on experience in IT infrastructure administration.
Strong expertise in Windows Server environments.
Extensive experience with virtualization platforms such as VMware and Nutanix.
Proven experience managing cloud infrastructure on Azure and AWS (hybrid cloud
environments).
Understanding of NAS and SAN storage management.
Knowledge of server monitoring tools, patch management processes, and security
best practices.
Experience in disaster recovery planning and execution.
Proficient in scripting languages for automation (PowerShell, Bash, Python, etc.).
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills (English) and ability to work in a collaborative team
