Job Description:
1. Design and develop custom solutions on Salesforce leveraging backend applications using Apex, Flow and Lightning Web Components (LWC), Salesforce CPQ & Billing and Experience Cloud.
2. Collaborate with business analysts and project team members to understand business requirements within user stories and translate them into technical solutions. Implement and customize Salesforce Experience Cloud to enhance customer engagement. Implement and optimize backend functionalities to improve system performance and data management which necessary changes that could include custom object, custom fields and other custom metadata to support the necessary development.
3. Integrate Salesforce with 3rd party AppExchange applications, other systems and platforms using APIs and web services utilizing Mulesoft and other services.
4. Conduct unit testing and ensure the quality and performance of custom backend applications meets standards for code coverage and vulnerabilities.
5. Provide technical support and troubleshooting for both front end and backend applications/services to ensure end to end support of the business needs.
6. Stay updated with Salesforce features and best practices.
Essential skills:
1. Bachelors degree in business, Information Technology or related experience or relevant experience working with businesses transforming their service operations leveraging modern technology and processes.
2. Proven experience as a Salesforce Developer mostly focused on backend functionality. Strong understanding of Salesforce development features and functionalities.
3. Proficiency in Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flow, Salesforce APIs, CPQ & Billing and Experience Cloud.
4. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
7. Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I) are a plus.
