Job Description

Experience: • 10+ years relevant experience in OBIEE administration, data architecture, installation, migration and upgrade, configuration, performance tuning, health checks, clustering/HAA/MAA deployment, storage, monitoring, and general troubleshooting of database and middleware systems. • Advanced knowledge in Unix/Linux and/or Windows system administration. • Advanced knowledge in networking, security, virtualisation/cloud, and storage administration. • Advanced proficiency in scripting and automation, including Unix, SQL, shell, batch, Python/Perl/etc. Skills: • Superb trouble-shooting skills and tenacity in problem solving • Passionate focus on customer support and the ability to build long term, successful working relationships with Clients • Deep knowledge of OBIEE customization/extension methodologies • Deep knowledge of OBIEE integration with ERP • Excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills – verbal & written • Attention to detail and the ability to learn quickly • Extreme focus on Client satisfaction • Ability to work calmly and professionally in high pressure situations • The ability to work remotely from a home-based office in a virtual environment Desired Qualifications: • The best candidates must have extensive knowledge in administration and Development of OBIEE and its dependent Oracle Database and Fusion Middleware infrastructure. • A consulting background, while not mandatory, would be useful.
