Configure and support SAP PP/DS and Embedded PP/DS (ePPDS) solutions
Maintain and validate master data: Products, Locations, Resources, Tanks, and PDS
Block Planning
IBP integration with ePPDS
Configure tank resources, capacities, min/max fill levels, cleaning and changeover times
Execute and analyse PP/DS heuristics and optimizer runs for finite scheduling
Perform detailed scheduling and sequencing using the PP/DS Planning Board
Support process order integration with S/4HANA production execution
Analyse and resolve planning alerts, capacity overloads, and sequencing conflicts
Support unit testing, SIT, UAT, and data validation activities
Handle production support issues, perform root‑cause analysis, and propose fixes
Prepare functional documentation and support planner enablement sessions
Skills And Attributes For Success
Hands-on experience in SAP PP/DS or Embedded PP/DS (ePPDS)
Strong understanding of finite planning, pegging, sequencing, block planning and capacity modelling
Knowledge of interface of PPDS with IBP and other planning tools
Practical experience with tank planning in process & discrete manufacturing
Knowledge of setup times, cleaning cycles, batch constraints and tank utilization
Experience working with heuristics, optimizer profiles, and planning boards
Ability to analyse planning results and explain them to business users
Strong troubleshooting and problem solving mindset
Good communication skills and ability to work in global delivery teams

Minimum 7+ Years of SAP BASIS and HANA technology experience, the candidate should have extensive hands-on experience and knowledge on the following areas of SAP HANA DB:
• Experience SAP HANA Database Administration experience
• Experience in HANA Database installation , Configuration, upgrades & Administration
• Experience in HANA DB monitoring, performance tuning & troubleshooting
• Good to have Azure Cloud experience with latest tools
• Experience in dumps, logs & trace utilities
• SAP tools and reports for HANA administration
• Database maintenance activities along with HSR, Backup/Restore & DB refresh
• SAP HANA data management techniques and memory utilization & optimization
• Should be expert with HANA Cockpit
• Data Provisioning, SAP HANA Security mechanism, SAP HANA XS Application service
• Remote access options and experience with SAP HANA Migrations
• Ability to configure predictive system warnings and monitor metrics to avoid unexpected system outages
• Should be familiar with HANA SSO & SSL
• Must be flexible to work in shifts & weekends
• Must have experience in critical Incident Management/ MIM management
• Good communications skills both verbal and written
• Should have people management skills
