You will be the go-to person for everything Databricks — from ingesting raw data into Delta Lake to deploying production RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) systems that power our AI applications.
You will work closely with data engineers, ML engineers, and product teams to build a scalable, secure, and governed data platform that accelerates AI-driven product development.
What you will do
Platform management
• Provision, configure, and manage Azure Databricks workspaces, clusters, and compute policies
• Implement and maintain Unity Catalog for data governance, lineage, and access control across the platform

• Monitor platform health, set up alerting, and troubleshoot job failures and performance bottlenecks
Data engineering and Delta Lake
• Design and build Bronze → Silver → Gold medallion architecture pipelines using Delta Lake
• Ingest structured and unstructured data (CSV, JSON, PDF, APIs) into ADLS Gen2 and Delta tables
• Implement MERGE, schema evolution, Change Data Feed, and partitioning strategies for production tables
• Manage Delta table versions, vacuum, optimize, and Z-order for query performance
ADLS Gen2 and storage
• Configure ADLS Gen2 storage accounts, containers, and hierarchical namespaces
• Set up Service Principal authentication, Key Vault integration, and IAM role assignments
