Job Description:
Location – Pune/Bangalore/Chennai
• 5+ years of experience in IT Service management, (Incident Management, Vendor Management, Problem management, Change management)
• FSCP certified/accredited at a minimum (Forescout Certified Courses)
• Hands on with configuring and deploying policy enforcement using Forescout NAC & Cisco ISE.
• In-depth knowledge of network security, threat detection, risk mitigation and in particular Network Access Control.
• Strong understanding of ITIL practices.
• Hands on with managing/troubleshooting Cisco and other OEMs Network elements.
• Should have hand-on experience on Forescout (Enterprise manager & appliances), Broadcom Spectrum (monitoring tool)
• Ready to work in night shifts and weekends (24/7)

- Indicative Key Responsibilities of the candidate as provided by JLL :
i. Performance Tuning: The DBA will analyze and optimize database performance to ensure smooth and efficient operation. This includes monitoring system metrics, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing solutions to improve response times and throughput. They will adjust database parameters, optimize I/O, and manage memory allocation to maximize performance.
ii. Query Analysis and Optimization: The DBA is responsible for reviewing and optimizing SQL queries. They will analyze execution plans, rewrite inefficient queries, and recommend appropriate indexing strategies to enhance application performance. This is a critical function for any application relying on the Oracle database.
iii. Tool Management: This role involves managing and maintaining various Oracle-related tools for monitoring, backup, recovery, and security. The DBA will ensure these tools are configured correctly and are used effectively to support database operations and security policies.
iv. Security Patch Updates: The DBA will be in charge of planning and applying Oracle PSU (Patch Set Updates) and other security patches to protect the database from known vulnerabilities. This includes testing patches in a non-production environment, scheduling maintenance windows, and applying updates with minimal downtime.
v. Problem-Solving: The DBA will troubleshoot and resolve complex database issues, including those related to execution plans, resource contention, and application connectivity. They' will use their expertise to quickly diagnose problems and implement effective, long-term solutions.
Desired Qualifications (indicative as best fitment for role):
i. Proven experience as an Oracle Database Administrator.
ii. Strong knowledge of Oracle database architecture and administration.
iii. Expertise in SQL tuning and query optimization.
iv. Experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) or other monitoring tools.
v. Familiarity with applying Oracle PSU and other security patches.
vi. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
vii. Expertise in Oracle 12c/19c, RAC, Data Guard, and RMAN
viii. Proficiency in PL/SQL, shell scripting, and migration tools (Oracle GoldenGate, Data Pump)
ix. DB (Oracle) maintenance - includes the platform-level database engineering work, creating database backup and restore scripts, replication setups
