Workspace & Infrastructure Management Workspace and Cluster Configuration: Create and manage Databricks workspaces, setting up and optimizing clusters for different workloads and user needs.
Platform Health & Monitoring: Continuously monitor platform health, resource utilization, and performance to identify and resolve issues.
Maintenance & Upgrades: Perform routine maintenance, software upgrades, and patch management to ensure the platform is current and secure. Security & GovernanceIdentity &
Access Management: Manage user access, roles, and permissions to control who can access what within the Databricks environment.
Security Controls: Implement and maintain security measures, data encryption, and access policies to protect data and the platform.
Data Governance: Manage tools like Unity Catalog to enforce policies on data access, classification, and retention. Performance & Optimization
Performance Tuning: Analyze and troubleshoot performance bottlenecks in workloads and optimize configurations for better efficiency.
Cost Optimization: Monitor resource utilization and implement strategies to manage and control costs within the platform. Collaboration & Support
Technical Support: Provide technical support and collaborate with data analysts, scientists, and engineers to meet their requirements and support their workflows.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with infrastructure, engineering, and DevOps teams to integrate Databricks into the broader IT ecosystem and CI/CD pipelines.
Automation & IntegrationAutomation: Develop and implement scripts and automation tools to streamline deployment, configuration, and monitoring processes. Cloud Integration: Integrate the Databricks platform with other cloud services and identity providers for enhanced functionality and security.

Key Requirements & Capabilities

Manage and oversee the entire program lifecycle from initiation to closure. Enforce program governance and steering committee meetings. Proactively manage risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies (RAID) to prevent project derailment. Track and report on program benefits and overall performance to senior leadership.

Develop and manage the master program plan to ensure alignment with organizational goals. Control the critical path, integrating industrial milestones with digital go-lives (PLM/ERP/MES etc.)

Experience with Change Request (CR) boards and Engineering Change Order (ECO)/Engineering Change Request (ECR) processes.

Exceptional communication skills to manage expectations and provide decisive recommendations to executives and partners.
Conflict Resolution: Ability to mediate and resolve conflicts between competing priorities or teams.

Conceptual knowledge of the entire digital thread, including PLM (EBOM to MBOM, routings), ERP (MRP, GI/GR, Procurement), MES/MOM (Mfg. Execution).
Integration Patterns: Awareness of common integration patterns (e.g., PLM to ERP/MES) and related concepts like data contracts and error handling.

11-12 years of relevant experience managing similar high-intensity, high-visibility projects. Prior experience in PLM/ERP/MES/WMS/ASRS integration.

Understanding and know-how of industrial milestones (IC,OQ,PQ) , IT system implementation (ERP, MES & PLM), integration.
