Finance Functional Architect – Oracle Fusion based Enterprise Finance Transformation
We are looking for an experienced Finance Functional Architect to lead large-scale, enterprise finance transformation programs built on Oracle Fusion Cloud. This is a senior role suited for professionals who combine deep accounting expertise with strong ERP design capability, and who can operate as a trusted advisor to finance leadership.
The role will focus on designing integrated finance processes across General Ledger, Payables, Receivables, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, Risk Management and Revenue Management (RMCS). A key expectation is the ability to translate complex accounting requirements into scalable Oracle Fusion solutions, ensuring that financial processes are not implemented in isolation but are aligned across contracts, billing, projects, and reporting.
Revenue recognition will be a core aspect of this role. The architect is expected to design and operationalize models covering multi-element arrangements, project-based revenue, recurring and subscription scenarios, while aligning with IFRS / ASC-based accounting principles. Strong understanding of contract asset/liability flows, billing-to-revenue integration, and event-based accounting is essential.
Given the global nature of the program, the role requires a solid understanding of localization, multi-entity structures, and country-specific statutory requirements, including tax, compliance, and local GAAP considerations. The architect will ensure solutions are globally standardized while still supporting necessary regional variations.
Equally important is the ability to articulate business impact. The role requires translating design into measurable business outcomes, including KPIs such as reduction in manual journals, faster financial close, improved audit readiness, and enhanced financial visibility. The architect will play a central role in shaping and governing the value realization framework, ensuring that transformation objectives are achieved and sustained.
Candidates must bring strong accounting credentials, preferably Chartered Accountant (CA), Cost Accountant (CMA), or MBA in Finance, combined with a minimum of 10+ years of experience in finance transformation programs. Proven experience in Oracle Fusion Financials, including RMCS and integrated finance modules, is essential.
This role is intended for professionals who can go beyond ERP implementation and act as design authorities—ensuring that finance transformation delivers business outcomes, not just system changes.
