Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced AWS DevOps Engineer with 3–9 years of hands-on experience in AWS cloud infrastructure, CI/CD automation, Infrastructure as Code, containerization, Kubernetes, monitoring, and production support.
The candidate will be responsible for automating infrastructure provisioning, building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, deploying applications on AWS, improving platform reliability, and supporting scalable and secure cloud environments.
The role aligns with core AWS DevOps practices around SDLC automation, IaC, resilient cloud solutions, monitoring/logging, incident response, and security.
Key Responsibilities
Design, deploy, configure, and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure.
Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines for application build, testing, and deployment.
Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform and/or AWS CloudFormation.
Manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes/Amazon EKS.
Implement deployment strategies such as Rolling, Blue-Green, and Canary deployments.
Manage AWS services including EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudWatch, ELB/ALB, Route 53 and ECR.
Develop automation scripts using Shell/Bash and/or Python.
Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and operational dashboards.
Troubleshoot infrastructure, application deployment, networking, and production issues.
Implement AWS security best practices including IAM, security groups, secrets management, encryption, and least-privilege access.
Support high availability, scalability, disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity requirements.
Collaborate with developers, QA, architects, and application teams to improve deployment and operational processes.
Participate in incident management, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement activities.
Optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, reliability, and cost.
