Role Description:
1 Design, implement and maintain RDBMS Database, ensuring optimal performance, scalability and data integrity.
2 Experience in writing store procedures and optimization and performance tuning with strong technology acumen and a deep strategic mindset.
3 Utilize Python and Unix Shell scripting to automate database tasks such as data extraction, transformation, loading, monitoring and maintenance.
4 Experience and knowledge in ETL tools and Graph DB will be an added advantage.
5 Monitor and optimize database performance, identifying and resolving bottlenecks and implementing performance tuning techniques.
6 Implement and enforce data security and access controls, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
7 Experience with Agile methodologies - Scrum, Continuous integration, TDD
8 Strong communication and documentation skills, ability to excel in a short timeframe under short sprints
